Conservation Biology Lab

The Conservation Biology Lab is part of the Department of Biology and was created in 2002 with the general aim of providing solutions for the co-existence of natural values and human development. The lab specific tasks are:

  1. Promote applied research focused on the management and conservation of Mediterranean ecosystems and natural resources
  2. Support post graduated classes and master and PhD thesis
  3. Disseminate the results of the research to the scientific community and the general public
  4. Support firms and general public in projects aiming biodiversity conservation
